Cleveland fire brigade visit

To support their 1st Aid & Rescue Skills curriculum in preparation for the Duke of Edinburgh Award, Year 8 students were hosted by Cleveland Fire Brigade this week! They had a fascinating careers talk about the life of a firefighter and what is required in such a demanding role, and were able to try on kit and handle the "jaws of life" and the fire hoses.
