We are celebrating International women's day in school today to raise awareness around the barriers many women around the world face and to examine negative attitudes to women - what they are and why people have them. We did lots of work around healthy relationships.

Each lesson children learnt about an inspirational woman and some reasons she is so inspiring.

Everyone had a themed lesson examining women's rights around the world, and why they are not all the same as the UK. Children produced some excellent work around these themes.
