Students and staff enjoyed International day of happiness on Match 20th. We spent time reflecting on what makes us happy, and how we make others happy. We realised we are responsible for our own happiness and can choose our mood. We also reflected that lots of children around the world don't have any of the things in our lives that make us happy, and this made us feel grateful.
We are putting together a wall of happiness in school to celebrate the work we did. Students completed their own 'what makes me happy task' in different creative ways. One of the best pieces of work was produced by LG in year 7. In his food lesson he made crisps and experimented with flavourings. His pizza flavoured crisp came out of the fryer with a happy face on it. Isn't it awesome!
