We had a great day in school celebrating the coronation of King Charles. Children joined in a variety of activities including coronation parkour, coronation cooking, coronation print making and learning to play the national anthem on the keyboard. We had our first Hollis Academy family BBQ of the year (in the rain) and enjoyed celebrating together.

Children have been wonderful participants in the BIG HELP OUT all week. We have been litter picking in areas of the community they value. We have cleaned up at Preston Park, Brimham Rocks near Ripon, and along the River Tees at Darlington. We have filled 5 big bin bags with rubbish!
