Our Academy football team are brilliant. Each Friday we play against teams from other special schools and alternative education providers across the region. We don't always win but our team always play with determination, good humour and enjoy themselves immensely. We have an Academy football kit that team members wear with pride. 

Being part of the team is great for students' social development in that the need to display the qualities of sportsmanship - trying their best, listening to the referee and coaches, and supporting their own team and the opposing side.
