SHAPE points - acting on parental feedback
In our parents survey we noticed parents and carers are not quite sure about how the SHAPE points work.
Each lesson children earn points - 5 points each lessons. There is a point for each thing we think is important in lessons:
S - safe
H - healthy choices
A - Attending
P - progress
E - employability
Every Friday we work out the child's total and they are award bronze, silver, gold or platinum. Each level comes with different t rewards and free time choices. We celebrate in our Friday assembly.
From this week we will text parents/carers to inform you that your child is gold or platinum, so that you can celebrate with them. If you don't get a text, it is a sign that your child might want to get focussed for next week to increase their points.
