Emotional regulation

This half term students have been working on developing a better understanding of emotional regulation. We use zones of regulation to support our young people in knowing how they are feeling , with 1 being 'everything is great' to 5 'I am completely dysregulated and need adult support'.

Year 7 and 8 have worked on feelings volcanoes; that is what makes us blow our tops! By recognising what gets us angry we can work out what to do about it. Issac created this anger volcano model labelled with the big feelings he struggles with. Isn't it fabulous!
