Hollis Academy is working towards our Silver medal in Rights Respecting Schools. 

 

Article 12 in the children's rights charter states every child has the right to say what they think in all matters affecting them, and to have their views taken seriously.

This term we are working hard on encouraging young people to have a stronger voice; too often children choose not to have a say or contribute to conversations about supporting them.  This might mean they work with a preferred adult to make a contribution, or complete preparatory work before a session to develop confidence.
