Yr10 students were hosted by the Thermal Insulation Contractors Association at their national training centre in Darlington. They had a lesson on the science behind insulation and its application in industry, a careers session on the Thermal Insulation Apprenticeship they offer and then a practical session on using insulation.

The sessions were fantastic. One pupil said, "I can see why someone would do that job, and I know how I can get the job if I want to". We couldn't ask for a more successful visit!
