Pupils working with council leaders on education planning
8 pupils have been working with Kathy Peacock, Voice and Influence Manager from Middlesbrough children's services. Pupils have been making sure that young people's voices are considered in council decision making regarding SEND children's services. Their voices matter and are listened to at the highest level.
JF and ID represented Hollis Academy at a meeting on Tuesday where they met the big council bosses in charge of making decisions. Both boys confidently spoke to the adults at the meeting and represented young people from Hollis' views.
