Employers, Education and Training Providers

Hollis Academy welcomes the opportunity to work with a range of education and training providers and employers so that all students can be informed about the different opportunities available to them post-16 including technical education and apprenticeship opportunities.

Examples of how Hollis Academy can work with local providers and employers are:

· Delivering assemblies to students on a specific topic

· Attending our careers fair aimed at Years 10 and 11

· Talking to years 10 and 11 students about careers in a specific sector through working with Level 6 trained careers advisors from the various local authority SEN teams

· External visits to places of employment, education or training

We work with a number of different employers, public and private, to ensure our students have as broad a base of inspiration and aspiration as possible. We are always looking for further opportunities and we invite any local employers to get in touch to discuss work experience and workplace visits.
